Here’s what some of our Friends are saying:
Ginny and John VanKeuren
My first trip to the GR Library was in the early 1940s. At that time it was located in the basement of the Borough Hall and run by Mrs. Griffin and Mrs. Connell. They ran a very tidy operation. And now, in a different location and with different people, the same aura of service and friendliness prevails.
The Morrissey Family
We are proud supporters of the Friends of the Glen Rock Public Library and have been going to the library with our children since they were little. From story time and picking out picture books to finding books and resources throughout their elementary, middle, and high school years, it has been a special part of our family’s journey and a place where their love of reading and learning has continued to grow. It gives children and adults access to books, technology, programs, and resources that enrich our community and make a lasting difference.
The Kislukhin Family
Our family loves being Friends of the Glen Rock Public Library members! Michael especially enjoys the children’s room, where he can pick out books and play games. We also love visiting the library’s exhibitions and discovering something new each time!
The Levine Family
No algorithm would have suggested any of the fun and engaging activities that our family has enjoyed over the years thanks to the Friends of the Glen Rock Public Library: stuffed animal sleepovers, reading challenges, local art discoveries, shopping the book sale. We are lucky to have such a wide range of opportunities to dream and escape located in the literal center of Glen Rock.
The Bentivegna Family
The Glen Rock Public Library is one of our family's favorite places in town! Whether it's reading books, coloring, building with blocks, or playing with the trains, our kids always find something to spark their imagination. It's so much more than a place for books — it's a wonderful hub for creativity, learning, and community, where our children can play, make friends, and meet other families. Every time we walk past the library, our kids ask if we can go inside! We're so grateful to the Friends for helping make the library such a special place for Glen Rock families. Thank you for everything the Friends of the Glen Rock Public Library does for our community!
